Baseline indices of iron load predict severity of arthropathy in C282Y homozygous haemochromatosis

We report evidence of a correlation between indices of iron load and arthropathy in patients with C282Y homozygous HFE haemochromatosis. The findings have implications for treatment of arthropathy in these patients.
